The system failure going to the clubhouse has been fixed. Further, the system failure to display reward items received after the system maintenance on 18th December (Thursday) have also been fixed. However, except for those that were obtained recently, users will have to obtain reward items that were received after the system maintenance on 18th December (Thursday) again. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused.

【23/12/2008： Notice on Urgent Maintenance】
PlayStation®Home will undergo urgent maintenance at 7:00 p.m. on 23rd December (Thursday). After this maintenance, the problems of being unable to go to clubhouse and unable to disband a clubhouse will be fixed.

Further, the problem of being unable to save up reward items received after the system maintenance on 18th December (Thursday) to the server will also be fixed. However, except for those that were obtained recently, users will have to obtain reward items that were received after 18th December (Thursday) again. We deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused.

※ It is scheduled to take about an hour to complete maintenance but extension is possible depending on the circumstance.

【Effect of the Maintenance】
During the maintenance period, users will not be able to log in to PlayStation®Home. Please log in again after maintenance is completed.

【22/12/2008： Voice Chat Feature on PlayStation®Home Resumes】
PlayStation®Home update 1.05 is scheduled to be released at 19:00 today. With this new update, users will be able to use the voice chat which had been closed on 18th Dec once within their personal space and clubhouses to communicate and share with friends online.

※The system update will take around 30 minutes, but users will be able to log in during the period.

【19/12/2008： Notice on the Access Failure of the Reward System to Home Server】
After the completion of the system maintenance on 18th Dec (Thursday), the Home Reward System fails to access to the Home server.

This problem results in failure of display of Reward Items in PlayStation®Home received before system maintenance. Further, it is confirmed that Reward Items received after server maintenance cannot be saved to the system server.

We are now investigating and repairing the problem and your patience is much appreciated during this period. Further announcement will be made in “Message of the Day” on the login screen and our official website when the system is back to normal. Please also note that this problem is not affecting the item purchase feature in Shopping Mall and normal service is kept available.

【18/12/2008： Notification of System Maintenance】
Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. will conduct system maintenance for PlayStation®Home on Thursday, December 18, 2008, at this time PlayStation®Home will be updated from ver. 1.03 to 1.04. The system maintenance is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m., and the service is expected to resume in approximately 6 hours but may change depending on the circumstances. PlayStation®Home will be unavailable during the maintenance window.

The reason for this maintenance is to ease the difficulty some people are having accessing PlayStation®Home due to the high demand for the service.

Additionally, as part of version 1.04, the voice chat feature within PlayStation®Home will be temporarily suspended. As soon as we are ready to resume the voice chat feature, we will inform you via our official website. In the meantime, we encourage users to make use of the Wireless Keypad for PLAYSTATION®3 or any USB or Bluetooth-enabled keyboard for text chat and also the “phone friend” features to communicate within PlayStation®Home.

From now on, users in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Korea will be sharing the same space when using the service and be able to meet up with each other to have fun. Additionally, PlayStation®Home users will be able to purchase various items at the “Shopping Mall” for customizing avatars, "Personal Spaces" and "Clubhouses."

【About the error message for "NAMCO MUSEUM™ BETA"】
If you have not yet downloaded and installed "NAMCO MUSEUM™ BETA" to PLAYSTATION®3 and try to play any of its arcade machines 「Pac-Man®」, 「Dig Dug™」, 「Galaga®」 and 「Xevious™」in Game Space, a wrong error message will be displayed. The correct step to be taken is download the trial version of "NAMCO MUSEUM™ BETA" in PlayStation®Store and install the game to PLAYSTATION®3; then you will be able to play its arcade games in Game Space. Sony Computer Entertainment Inc. today announced that its highly anticipated PlayStation®Home Beta service for PLAYSTATION®3 (PS3™) will become available for all PS3™ users around the world*1 on December 11, 2008. Following the successful completion of the closed beta service, PlayStation®Home’s open beta service will continue to evolve with new features and functionality.

PlayStation®Home, available as a free download*2 starting December 11, will launch directly from the PlayStation®Home icon on the PlayStation®Network column of XMB™ (XrossMediaBar) on PS3™.

After opened, for users in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Korea, they will be sharing the same space when using the service and be able to meet up with each other to have fun in this “new playground.” Additionally, PlayStation®Home users will be able to purchase various items at the “Shopping Mall” for customizing avatars, “Personal Spaces” and “Clubhouses.”*3
