Staged in Agarest, a land divided into two continents of light and darkness, this game places the player as the hero of the light side which has been in battle with the dark forces for two generations. Same as the previous title, there are lots of attractive female characters and their charm is further amplified thanks to the Active Animation System which gives them more facial expression through movement of their months and hair. Players are free to change the shape of the square used in battles and special effect will be created when a character proceed to a particular square. Apart from endings with heroines from different generations, friendship endings with female characters are also included to enhance replayability. More add-ons are also scheduled to be out after the release of the game.
