Online Storage for Game Saves 

Using this function, users can back up the saved data of PS3™ contents to online storage. Users can also select whether to upload the saved data automatically or manually. Please be kindly reminded that not all contents are covered under this service.

* PS1, PS2 PSP® and minis save data CANNOT be backed up.
* Maximum: 150MB, and the maximum number of save data is 1000.
* Copy Prohibited Save Data can only be restored once a day.
* From 2nd time onwards, an on-screen message “save data can only be backed up once a day, you can restore the data again in 24 hours” will be displayed.
* This can not be done through in-game XMB. Users must quit the game in order to use this function.
* Please apply the latest version of the updated data to the game.

Full Game Trial

Challenge yourself with a cool new game – it’s free for up to an hour. If you decide you’d like to buy it, you can then unlock your trophies and continue.

• Members can download a “Full Game Trial” from the PlayStation®Store during their membership period and have up to 30 days to activate the title. What’s more, even if membership is terminated during the 30-day period after download you may still activate the title.
• Play each “Full Game Trial” title up to one hour within the 30-day period (play period varies by title).
• If you buy a licence key for a title after play period expiration, no problem – you can carry on playing the same title.
• Maybe you’re wondering: ”What about my saved game and trophy data from the trial period?” No worries. All are retained for further use.

Automatic Downloading

You’ll enjoy the convenience of fully automated downloads of firmware updates, software patches for titles you have and recommended demos. And you have complete control of the function, as every member can enable or disable automatic downloads through XrossMediaBar™ options.

• Free Game Download
  With a current PlayStation®Plus membership you can download and activate “Free Game Download” titles from the PlayStation®Store. Remember to keep your membership current, since otherwise you can’t keep playing downloaded games. However, once you renew a lapsed membership you can then resume playing your “Free Game Download” titles.
• Free Item Download
  Being a member allows you to take advantage of “Free Item Download” content from the PlayStation®Store such as avatars, themes and other great stuff – and for some content you get to keep the items regardless of your membership status.

Trophy Auto-Sync 

Automatic synchronization of trophies obtained in PS3™ titles with the cloud. To use this function, go to “Settings”>”System Settings”>”Automatic Update” and Choose “On”. For detailed system setting methods, please refer to User’s Guide.
