What does Activate System on the PLAYSTATION Network mean?

For certain types of PLAYSTATION Network content, the game system (PLAYSTATION 3 system or PSP system) that the content is intended to be used on must be activated by the PLAYSTATION Network account that purchased the content.  This is an important requirement.  If a game system is not activated, then the system can not be used to access the content that may have been purchased.

Please note only a maximum of five game system's may be registered to a PLAYSTATION Network account at a time.  If you wish to deactivate a system from your PLAYSTATION Network account, you must do so by accessing the PLAYSTATION Network account with the registered game system you wish to deactivate.
