PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) System Software version 6.10 Update

(Music)

（ SensMe™ channels）has been added as a new feature. The SensMe™ channels application uses Sony's proprietary 12 Tone Analysis technology to evaluate music tracks that have been imported from the "Media Go" application to the PSP™ system. The application automatically categorizes the tracks into 12 channels such as “Relax” and “Dance”. You can listen to the music by selecting a channel to match the time of day or your mood. * To use the SensMe™ channels application on your PSP™ system, you must first download the application to your system.  You can now import playlists that are created using the "Media Go" application. You can import the music that you play using "Media Go" directly to your PSP™ system so that you can enjoy the music anywhere. For details about installing "Media Go", select here. "Media Go" version 1.2 (to be released on October 2, 2009) or later is required to use this feature. * For details about using "Media Go", refer to the help file for "Media Go".

PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) System Software version 6.00 Update

Main features updated in system software ver 6.00

(Network)	A security patch has been added to the system software to address a vulnerability in  (Internet Browser).
(Settings)	(Network Update) has been renamed as   (System Update). New colors have been added under   (Theme Settings) > [Color].
(Game)	[Group Content] has been added to the options menu. You can now select either [By Expire Date] or [All] as a method for displaying content that is saved on Memory Stick™ media.

Other new or revised features in version 5.50

(Overall)	The number of folder levels that you can view under (Photo), (Music) and (Video) has been increased.
(Game)	If you select [Internet Search] from the options menu for a game, you can now perform an Internet search based on the name of that game.
(Network)	[Trend Micro™ for PSP®] haｓ been added as an option in the Internet browser.
(PlayStation®Network)	You can now access PlayStation®Store even if you do not have a PlayStation®Network account. An option to sign-in automatically is now available for PlayStation®Store. Set [Sign In Automatically (Auto Sign-In)] on the PlayStation®Store sign-in screen. [Download All] has been added as an option for use when multiple items are purchased from PlayStation®Store. Less free space is now required on Memory Stick Duo™ media when downloading games from PlayStation®Store.

When downloading content (as a purchase or for free) from PlayStation®Store using a PSP™ system with an 8 GB or 16 GB Memory Stick Duo™ media inserted, you may see a message indicating that the media does not have enough free space, even when sufficient space exists. The version 5.01 update resolves this issue.

* Note that this issue does not occur when downloading content from PlayStation®Store using a PS3™ system or a PC.

PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) System Software version 5.00 Update

Other	The background of the XMB™ (XrossMediaBar) screen has been redesigned. You can now use a full-size on-screen keyboard.
