PS3™ system software version 4.10 was released on February 8, 2012. Version 4.10 adds or updates the following features.

PlayStation®Network

Network The Internet browser has been improved for better content display. > See details Other "PlayStation®Network account" has been renamed to "Sony Entertainment Network account". You can continue using your current sign-in ID and password to sign in to PlayStation®Network.

Setting the date and time automatically

[Set Automatically] has been added as an option under [Settings] > [Date and Time Settings].

When this option is set to [On], each time you sign in to PlayStation®Network, the correct date and time are obtained automatically via the Internet and set on your system.

Off	Do not set the date and time for this system automatically.
On	Set the date and time for the system automatically.

• If a game or some types of applications are running when you sign in to PlayStation®Network, the date and time are not set automatically.

Network

Better content display in the Internet browser

The Internet browser has been improved for better content display.

Some websites that could not be displayed correctly, including interactive websites, are now supported, and page layouts are now displayed with better accuracy.

• The method has been changed for playing some video content to which websites link. For some video content, you must download the video file to the PS3™ system before you can play it in [Video].
