Hey there, Guardian. It's me, J09. Let's dive into the Titan class, shall we?
The Titan boasts unmatched resilience and recovery, pulverizing foes with hefty tackles and hammer swings.
Its class ability "Barricade" generates a powerful shield with great comeback potential, even in the face of hopeless odds. Offense, defense... This one's got the whole package!
Like I said, the Titan's class ability is Barricade.
The technique generates a wall of light capable of shielding a Fireteam from frontal assaults.
This shield doesn't just protect; it can deal damage too. Enemies foolhardy enough to touch the Barricade will find themselves in a world of hurt.
But just like a physical shield, your attacks won't pass through either. So don't go firing off a rocket straight into the thing, okay?
Barricade comes in two variations, which you're free to switch between. Use the version best suited to your style.
Different shield frames to suit different situations.
Generate a massive shield to protect you from heavy enemy onslaughts.
Summons a large, fixed shield in front of you, capable of absorbing frontal offensives.
The shield won't last forever, dissipating once it has taken enough damage. Still, it's enough to provide the breathing room you might need to recover.
A compact shield which lets you take precision shots from behind using your gun's sight. Your current weapon will auto-reload while you're behind the shield.
This baby lets you simultaneously step up your offense and defense.
No time to reload? No problem. Break out a weapon with a large magazine to convert the Barricade into a blazing gun turret.
Each of these three subclasses corresponds to one of the three elements.
They are: Sunbreaker, Striker, and Sentinel.
Much like class abilities, acquire these and you'll be free to switch between them at any time.
Go with your instincts when choosing which to use first. Don't worry—you'll eventually learn them all.
The Titan skill trees, or "styles," are variations on ability sets.
Use whichever suits you best strategically.
Well, that should bring you up to speed on the ins and outs of the Titan class.
Like I said, all the subclasses will be at your disposal in time, letting you switch freely between whichever ones you like.
You'll come across different grenade and jump variants too. Decide which fits best by testing them in the field.
Nothing beats the hands-on approach.
